Going Away Party

Daniel Dejong and Nathan Berkel are headed to Australia and then into South East Asia to do some backpacking for the next year. They invited a bunch of people to go to Baselines Pub last night to celebrate. I picked up Hilary then we headed there. Lets just say the night was very weird, but so good. It was weird to see everyone from highschool again (about 1/4 of our grad class was there) and good to catch up. The night never had a dull moment thats for sure. In the fourth picture Hilary looks ticked because John spilled beer all over her and decided to scowl at him. There was people there that I thought I would never see until our 10 year highschool reunion. Well, over all it was a great night and I stayed out way to late, but it was all worth it!!!

Birthday Celebrations

My actual birthday was on the 24th in which I went to school and did homework all day. The next day, we had a big family dinner to celebrate our birthdays and the recent engagement of James and JOcelyn. It was good to see all the family again, including the nephews. Fun times all around. Heidi got some African fabric so I taught her how to carry a baby on her back so she tried it with Jesse. It will need some practice so he doesnt fall to the ground, but Im sure it will work out fine!



Last Friday Kim and I set out to celebrate our birthdays. We started by going out for pedicures which was probably the highlight of the day. After that we went minigolfing at Castle Fun Park and I won a free pass for the next time! It was the first time in my life.. how exciting. After minigolf we headed to Kims to get dressed and she straightened my hair which was kind of her. After that we headed into Langley, had a very yummy dinner at Boston Pizza, then went to my house to watch a movie. That was our day of fun!

My brother James propsed to his girlfriend this afternoon and she said Yes!!! I never thought my brother could be so romantic! He took her up in a helicopter to the top of a mountain to pop the question, then took her out for dinner... we're very excited for them!

Tomorrow we are having a big family dinner to celebrate my birthday, my dads, brothers, sisters, and sister in laws and now the engagement... a day full of fun!

Happy St. Patty's Day

Im currently residing in Whistler. I came up here on Wednesday night because I had a school field trip. We toured the Fairmont Chateau, Intrawest, Pan Pacific and the Sundial. It was very informative and I realized that Whistler isn't my market for working. My teacher agreed with me.

I had a meeting with my teacher the other day and he told me that I got a 100% in my Human Resource Unit. He told me that I would be good in HR and told me that I should get my four year degree at UBC and that he would recommend me to the prof, since they know eachtother. Its worth considering.

I've been enjoying the family time up here. Im heaidng back home this afternoon as I need to do some homework and go out tonight. So after my brother calls Im going to head to his work and then head of town. Its raining a bit, but the roads should be good.

Anyways... Just a little post. I will post pictures of my adorable nephews when I get back to town.

Birthdays

I thought I should update....

I have an accounting exam tomorrow which really sucks because I've never been much of a studier. (Currently procrastinating) I've also been busy planning a school trip to Whistler to do some hotel tours. We will be heading up on Wednesday afternoon for the fieldtrip on Thursday. Im going to extend my visit to stay with Mike and Heidi and my nephews. It should be fun.

Its Heidi's birthday on the 19th (as well as my brother James) so Im going to babysitt the boys for a while, to let them go for dinner or something. We have lots of birthdays coming up. Those two, my dad is the 21st, and Im the 24th. I also know a lot of other people with birthdays around this time as well. Kim's birthday is on the 21st. On the 23rd Kim and I are going to celebrate by getting pedicures done and then heading out to Coquitlem to the Cactus Club for dinner. It should be a lot of fun. We thought about throwing a birthday party but we became to lazy, so now its just the two of us! We're quite excited!

Thats about all that is going on over here in Clayton. The rain sucks.

I should get to studying.... I think Im going to head to starbucks so Im less distracted!
