Furry Friends
Here are some furry friends I came across today. Mama and baby koalas chilling out in the tree by the ocean. Daddy was in another tree sleeping not far away.

A Little Rambling
Its been a while and I still feel like I don't have much to say... I will do my best.
19 days until I get married! We met with our celebrant yesterday and have to pick our vows etc which is exciting. We will also be having a professional photographer and this ceremony as well so we get nice pictures even though its just a ceremony with 4 people.
Something I have been reminded of lately is that its truely about who you know, not what you know for a lot of things. Taking our wedding. I work at our reception venue so we get 20% off everything plus some free stuff along the way which is just fabulous. We also met with the lady who is going to be doing our chair rentals etc for our beach ceremony and because she knows Barney from his days at working at the pub, she is giving us good discounts on everything. It has been so good finding connections etc here since I really didnt know much of what was out there for weddings before I came.
In other news, I bought a car. Its a Holden wagon with enough room for the dog and a future family. The best thing? It runs on LPG gas which only cost about 60 cents a litre right now. So cheap to fill up and it lasts quite a while too! Plus, we got it off a lovely couple who took great care of it and were very good to us in the sale.
Oh! How could I almost forget!? My sister Kristen and her husband had a baby boy this past week. Benjamin Alexander :) Wish I was in Vegas right now so I could meet the little guy. Thats two nephews I have yet to meet but will do next summer.
I set up our Christmas tree. I dont really like fake trees (although there are very nice ones out there) but we got one anyways. Its a bit bare, empty and could use a few more branches but its ours and it suits our quirky home. Plus it's called a Vancouver Tree and was $15. Couldn't say no to that....
Well.. this is boring but an update anyways. I shall post pictures soonish, although I think most people see them on facebook anyways. Oh well.
