Octopus's Garden

There are only a few times a year when going out to Big Rocky is possible. We only have Sundays off together so this eliminates a lot of days. On top of this, the tide needs to be very low during the day and there has to be virtually no swell in order to cross to the other side. Conditions were perfect so off we went! I do believe I have posted about this place before, but it is fun to explore all the tide pools so I shall share again.

The octopus's garden. Last time we were here we found an octopus here so we had a look again and there it was! It was eating a fish at the time. I tried to get photos but it was too hard with the glare from the sun.

We spent over 2 hours exploring but had to head back as the tide was beginning to come in. It such a beautiful and peaceful place! Ashley, I can't wait to take you here and show you all around the area! Only 4 more months :)

And on our way back home we saw a brown snake, the second most venemous snake in the world. Thankfully we were in the car :)

Anniversary

So this post is about 2 months late but we had our 2nd anniversary in December!

Barney worked a day shift and I worked a night shift so we didn't actually see each other. We also didn't plan anything to celebrate. Well, I actually had something planned but then Barney told me that his work Christmas party was falling on the same night so I gave up.

We'll be in Tasmania on holiday in March when we can celebrate our second, second wedding anniversary. Wow, that's confusing!

Anyways, the last two years of marriage have been fantastic and I love Barney dearly. I believe we compliment each other well and I really enjoy our time together. I'm very excited for what's to come in the following years for us and our relationship.
