It's about time...

Reflections at Stockton Beach

This post is long overdue yet I still don't know where to begin.

Work: I have finished working at the resort as my 6 month contract is up. I'm glad I left when I did as things seemed to be falling apart at the resort. We had new management come in, staff quiting and things just in general not going well. With that said, I do really miss my coworkers. They became my family over the last few months and I wish I could still see them daily. We always had a lot of fun at work. I have since been hired at another resort but haven't started working yet since the whole area is dead. Got to love winter... I'm going to start job hunting again soon to try to get as many hours as possible.



Men: I've been dating a guy name Barney for about 3 months and he is great. We are very happy together. He takes very good care of me and I am thankful for him in my life. What happens when I go home? I don't know yet. Will cross that bridge later.

Life: Life is good... I have about 75 more days left in Australia and time is flying by. I am trying to make the most of my time here. I am planning on traveling to Bali with Barney in the end of August for about 10 days. It will be a nice holiday and good to quality time together before I head home. Plus, its another country I can check off my list.

I'm going to be giving immigration a call in the next few days and see if I can find a way to stay longer in Australia. I call this place home now and I don't want to have to leave. We'll just have to wait and see what doors God opens for me.

I'm excited to see what my future holds. Until then, I'll just keep living!
