I woke up to an email sent from the Suite 710 50 O'Connor Street Ottawa. Immigration.
My prospective marriage visa application has safely arrived to the Australian immigration. The email included the fact that it had been received, I have been given a case number (because we all all just a number) and that the general processing time is about 3-6 months.
I can tell you now that I am not prepared to wait 6 months. Emotionally and mentally I am expecting 3 months. What usually makes the process longer is outstanding documents that are not sent in with the visa such as police and health checks. I have made sure that I have done all of that and sent in what I think is a completed application.
So with that said, I am looking into moving back to Australia sometime in July or August. I can't wait.
