11 Months

Wow! The last month has been a big one for development for Myles. I took the first video of him taking a couple steps on January 18th and now he is non stop walking! He is most confident at home and nearly runs sometimes. He chases Jessie and Jessie chases him. He can stand up without holding on to anything and can turn around while walking too. It is amazing how fast things can change.

I had to take his 11 month pictures very quick because he does not sit still. He was in the shopping cart seat the other day and I looked away for a second and when I turned around he was standing up in the cart.

He loves to try and climb and doesn't want to be held much anymore. He just prefers to do everything on his own. He is quite independent (like both Barney and I) but also gives hugs and kisses all the time.

He has been teething but no more teeth yet. Last week he had two trips to the doctor due to tummy problems and a bad face/head rash. He missed two days of day care because of it but thankfully both problems were just related to teething and nothing more serious. I had to miss one day of work and the second day, Barney and I took turns working. Barney worked from 7-1030, I worked 11-3 then Barney went back to work from 330-930. Definitely not ideal but all our friends work and the only family we have is Barneys parents who were out of town.

That is Myles at 11 months! Oh, he has no new words either. He only says mum. I think all of his energy is going into his physical development!

We love you Myles! It is hard to believe you will be one in a few weeks!!
