The playgroup that is run by my church started back up today after a small break. There has been a change of leadership for the group and I am now helping run it. It is open to the community for parents and kids to come play, do a craft, have story time and do group activities.
(I love our enclosed veranda because Myles can play outside even when it is raining!)
Today was great! I was there at 8am to help set up, then the playgroup runs until 11am then pack up and home. Myles was fantastic and I am so proud of him. He just happily played with some toys and mostly climbed up the stairs and went down the slide a million times. I didn't even really watch him that much as I was busy doing other things and he was awesome. So so proud of him. It made me be able to chat with new mums and play with other children too.
(Myles is obsessed with the paint roller right now)
We were there until about 11:30am, ran to the store, came home had a snack, Myles played and he went down for a nap at one. He has only recently transitioned to one nap so for him to last until one was great.
(Myles' hair is long and gets in his eyes, so I just chopped it off a little and did a terrible job! It looks okay when swept to the side)
I am really proud of the little man he is becoming. He listens well most of the time, plays nicely by himself and with others and is just a good boy. I love him so much :)
And I got this little package sent from my brother Matthew and his wife Heather! Heathers parents are in Australia visiting her brother and popped by for a coffee and delivered the goodies. I know its just candy and a pair of jeans for Myles, but its the best getting little reminders from home. I am trying to resist opening the candy as once I do, it will be gone very quickly.
