Twice a day at least, we would join in praise and worship with all the children. One song we did is the best thigh workout ever! It was so much fun!!!
After camp we took the team to Protea Safari Lodge for a quick safari. It wasn't the greatest but we had a lot of fun! Here is a picture of the girls greeting the elephant. This one is used to people. The one that was about to charge at me causing me to run for my life, not so used to people....
This is my friend Matt. He is from Illinois and he came with his mom. We had a lot of fun together. He is just like my big brother Matt, so we got along well.
These are my fellow Canadian interns that worked with EOH. Jessica on the left is from Medicine Hat and Valerie is from Ontario.
Because of the way this picture was taken, its a bit hard to understand whats going on. At the beginning of the trip, Bob took us out to see the land that has been purchased where one day we will build a permanent camp called Camp Hope. The blur of people in the background is the GEMS team praying over the land. We spent a lot of time there in prayer and song, just dedicating the land to God. It was so awesome!
