Two Things I like: Switchfoot and Accounting

Where the magic happened

The best shot of Tim I could get..

So last week Monday Elly and I met up with Cheryl and headed to the Switchfoot concert.... It was my third one but I still enjoy going to their shows. This concert they let us choose the songs they played and they played all of the great ones including Dare you to move, meant to live, twenty four, learning to breathe, we are one tonight, and the shadow proves the sunshine. Twenty four has a lot of personal meaning for me so I enjoyed that one. When their Nothing is Sound cd came out 18months ago approx. when I heard the song The shadow proves the sunshine, I said to myself that is the one song that I want to hear them in concert.... When they played it I got very thrilled. It was as wonderful as I had pictured it to be being song live. GOod concert over all. The opening band was fairly good although the lead singer looked like Gullem (sp.) from Lord of the Rings... scary....

In other news, I have finished Human Resource Management and Hospitality Law so far in my schooling. I did surprisingly well in Law which was nice. We started accounting today and I actually understand it!! The worst thing is that I am also enjoying it!!! Who enjoys doing math!? When I was getting the concepts I thought back to a day in Math 11. I got really frustrated because Ic ould understand it so I left the room crying and never returned. When I got home I had an email from Mr Kiers saying "Hate the Math, not the mathemetician." Those words were flashing in my head today but now its almost the other way around. Hate the accountant teacher, not the accounting?? No.. I like my teacher but not as much as Im liking the work... So Im a geek but Im fully okay with it. The first three chapters were supposed to be the worst and they arent so bad, so it can only get better, well, lets hope so!

Anyways... I shall be off to have a hot bubble bath after playing some quality volleyball.... Goodnight
