That's how things are going to go for Barney and I.
I have been asked lately when we are planning on getting married so I thought I would explain.
We are going to be legally married on February 5th, 2011. One of my visa requirements is that we get married before March 2, 2011 (9 months from my approval date). We had already determined this day long ago so we figured we would stick with it. This will also give me enough time to fill in all the forms for my spousal visa which has to be in by March 2nd.
We are just going to have a small beach ceremony with our officiant and our two or three witnesses. And I am going to wear this cute beach dress I got in Vegas for $12.99 :)
Our real wedding will take place on March 16, 2011 in Australia. We got engaged March 16, 2010 so Barney thought it would be nice to have it the same day. Sure, why not!?
We are going to have a small beach ceremony with 40 or so of our close friends and family. We have yet to determine where our reception will be, but I can tell you it will overlook the ocean. Now its just a matter of deciding which beach to get married on. Rough, I know. Sorry, but I can't post a picture of my real wedding dress on here but I promise I will after the wedding.
Since many of my friends and family will not be able to fly to Australia to attend our wedding, we have decided to return sometime next summer to have a celebration here. We still want everyone to share in our special day so this is what we see best for our situation.
So, we get to celebrate three times. A little unique but it's how things have to go.
For now, I shall continue to visit with friends and family, run errands and attempt to pack. Oh, and its my nephews birthday today and its also the day his little sister is due to enter this world. So excited to have another niece!
