Beach Days

Yesterday morning Barney, Jessie and I spent 3 hours going beach to beach watching the big waves and the surfers trying to conquer them. It was very relaxing to just sit, take photos and just be together. These are the times we cherish! We had lost track of time and realized it was close to lunch so we grabbed some fried chicken and a burger and sat in the back of the pickup truck on the beach and had lunch. It was perfect.



After having such an unproductive morning we came home and finally finished painting our kitchen. We have procrastinated too long and just decided to get it done. Thank goodness thats over and done with!! We do not enjoy painting.

I was supposed to take care of our Chef's girls last night but they had to cancel their plans so Barney and I enjoyed a relaxing evening at home. We only have one day off a week together so it was good to hang out with him all day.



As it is Monday, we aren't eating meat today. Breakfast was coffee (as usual) and lunch was salad, pita bread and hummus. Dinner will be nachos with quacomole as we have some very ripe avocadoes that need to be eaten. Nothing too exciting!



In other things, Im trying to book accomodation for a trip Ashley and I are going on. If there was a 15-20$ price difference per night between two places and the more expensive one was much nicer but they both offered the same thing, what would you choose? Im trying to save money but its a hard choice! Opinions are welcome :)
