Single Parent for a Week

I am currently a single parent for a week and so far so good!

Barney is away visiting a friend in Melbourne for a week to have some quality 'boy time' consisting of camping, playing video games and watching movies.

The first three days have gone well. Myles has been in day care for all three of them and I have worked two of them. On my day off, I went to our new house to do some more work before we hopefully have renters in. The house looks much better now and it's almost ready to go. The real estate called us today with news that a family wants to move in so hopefully that can happen sooner rather than later.

Tomorrow I might take Myles to the pool in the morning, stop by the grocery store and take Jessie out in the afternoon after our naps. Sunday we have a birthday party to go to. One of our friends who we met in birthing classes little boy is turning 2, so we shall go into Newcastle to celebrate.

I have no plans for Monday or Tuesday, just take it easy and catch up with some mom friends.

It is definitely tiring doing everything on my own but I am thankful that it is only for a short time and I have a wonderful husband!

Might be time to plan a girls weekend away before all our babies arrive! (There are so many friends due around the same time as me!)
