Last Saturday was my last day of work! I was given a big basket full of baby stuff from my colleagues which was really kind of them.
We pretty much have everything we need for bubs or at least what we think we will need. I have spent the last few days emptying out our living room and the baby room as we will be painting over the long weekend coming up.

We have also been attending prenatal classes. We weren't originally going to take part in them but I am glad we decided to as we have both learnt a lot and have had a chance to have questions answered. The midwife that lead our class was great and light hearted which made it more enjoyable. We have one class left in early February. Tonight I am attending a breastfeeding clinic that the hospital puts on for free so I figure I mine as well go as I really hope to breastfeed.
I have my major check up at the hospital tomorrow and I am excited to see where bubs is at with growth and to see what position he is in. I am of course hoping he is head down but with all the movement still going on, I doubt he is in position yet! My doctor says she wont worry until I'm 37 weeks as I have a long torso and lots of room for bubs to move around.
I'm not nervous about the birth or anything really. My birth plan is to listen to my body. Yup, that's all. I don't want to write a birth plan because I don't want to be disappointed if things don't go the way I want. All I want is a healthy baby and for me to be healthy! My wish would be to have a water birth free of pain killers but I will just take it as it comes.
I'm now at 34+3 weeks and the waiting game begins! I have a hunch I will have bubs between 38-39 weeks but we shall see!
