Stefanie was maid of honour at our wedding a few years ago and it was so nice to share with her on her special day too.
Its rained for weeks and on her wedding day it was beautiful out! It has rained since.
I was hoping to wear a new dress to the wedding but it was still cool out and a dress isn't very breastfeeding friendly. So, I wore pants. Not as classy but practicality is important!
Stef's dad walked her halfway down the aisle, then her mum walked her the rest of the way. Her parents haven't been together in many years, so I thought this was a lovely way of having both of them participate.
It was so great to watch Stefanie get married. We have had many conversations over the years about where we would meet our spouse etc and now its nice to see things work out perfectly.
After the ceremony we had some appetizers then went to do some shopping before the reception. Myles fell asleep in the stroller so we just kept walking through the mall.
Myles did so well all day! He was up early for the day but ended up having 4 naps totalling over 5.5 hours for the day. In addition, he also fell asleep on the drive home. He had trouble going to sleep once we were home but once he was asleep, he slept from 11:30-6:00am straight. I wasn't complaining!
Lastly, a picture with the stunning bride! I love that she took her hair out at the reception. So beautiful. And please excuse the wrinkly shirt, Myles slept on me a lot during the evening.
It was a long day with Myles with us, but we really enjoyed our day!
In a few weeks we will be heading down south for another friends wedding. It is a 10 hour drive so we are doing it in two days on the way there and will do it in one day on the way home.
