Saturday:
We picked up some burgers and fries and headed to the park to look for humpback whales. We must have seen at least 20 whales and apparently there were heaps more the day before. It is great to see the whale population growing every year now that they are a protected species. We had our lunch then Myles did some exploring and met a dog friend who was very big. We had a lovely time then headed home for naps before I headed to work for the evening.
Sunday:
Barney took Myles do get some groceries and let me sleep in until 9:30 so I ended up missing church. We did some housework and when Myles woke up from his morning sleep, we headed to the park for a bbq. Myles ran around, played on the slide and ate his lunch. I love that we have endless park and beaches all within a 10 minute drive from us and at this time of the year, we usually have them to ourselves. We are blessed to live where we live.
Now it is time for our Sunday afternoon family nap. We have a lovely steak dinner planned and will catch up on some TV shows. What a great weekend we had! Tomorrow we will go to mums group, run some errands and bake some muffins.
