Something Old, Something New

Okay, maybe not old. But, it's finished with for now. I got my wedding dress drycleaned and its now packed away where it will stay until our first year anniversary, when I will try it on to see if it still fits. It better! I don't have the heart to sell it because I've always pictured my daughter to one day want to play dress up with it. That is if I ever have a daughter... hope so.

The new is not very exciting but I was proud of thinking it up. As winter is approaching and it has rained for the last few days straight, I thought I better hang a clothes line on our covered veranda so we can still do washing when the weather is not in our favour. Right now its meerly a piece of string hung by a few nails but I hope to get some strong rope to make it a little better. We don't have a dryer so we make do with what we have.

I've slowly began to pack my bags for our trip around the world. All we are bringing is a school size backpack each (!!!) so I really don't have to pack much. It just has to be very strategic! We leave in less than two weeks and it's finally starting to hit. Still can't believe I get to see my friends and family soon! Looking forward to it :)
